The afterglow of an early spring sunset adds subtle colors to the evening clouds and surface of the bay. This special spot is along Hy G just south of Frank Murphy Park at the end of a small lane aptly named"sunset road" and is one of my favorite spots to watch Door County sunsets.
In this case I chose to use a fish-eye lens which will add either a gentle or dramatic curve to the earth, depending on where you place the horizon in your composition.
This print is 16" by 24" on metal.
David has had a 50 year passion for photography. In person this shot is even more stunning. (The shot use for this online store is a picture of the work hanging on the wall.)
