About; David T. Wilkinson attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison and Milwaukee, studying art and architecture. He earned a Master’s Degree in Architecture in 1975. As a child Dave first learned about photography in his grandfather’s darkroom, developed his eye for photography during college, and has progressed with his art through digital technology. Dave’s photos are printed on high-quality, long-lasting Kodak paper that resists fading for generations. Silver halide prints provide the best quality image and deliver vivid color reproduction, exceptional sharpness and unsurpassed color stability.
In addition to his photography, Dave creates pen and ink artwork including Door County scenes and custom residential renderings. Dave is also a United Methodist Minister, serving First UMC in Green Bay. Dave’s photographs focus on the wonder of God’s creation.
Dave’s statement on his connection to Door County. ”My roots date back to 1876 when my great grandfather settled with his bride near Sister Bay. Our family has been coming to Door County ever since. My grandfather taught me all about Door County, as well as photography and drawing. My parents were engaged there, as were my wife and I, as were our two children. Our family has property in Sister Bay where we spend a great deal of time. We have a son buried in Little Sister Bay cemetery and some of my artwork is dedicated to him.”
