Kurt's artist bio.
My name is Kurt Wendhack and I've been working on Art my whole life. I've been drawing and painting in both oils and watercolors for my entire life.
As much as I liked Art I didn't actually think about being an artist until I was a senior in high school. I receive some experience from a teacher it was actually a real artist with his encouragement I developed a real a sense of capability and creativity.
Upon graduation from high school, I attended Triton College, in addition to typical of college studies I majored in art I took all available art subjects. Afterwards, I attended the Chicago Academy of Art I love the experience.
During this period I got married and subsequently, we had a baby. I was quite successful at selling my work but did not enough to raise a family. I was forced to get a real job... I actually had to work and I was successful at that too but I did interfere with my artistry. I painted part-time and my sales were limited. Much of my art became gifts to friends and family. When I say much, that is a significant understatement because I actually gave practically everything away. I did so pieces of art at festivals but this was not worth the effort.
That brings me to my here and now. I live in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin I'm painting whenever I feel the need.
Thanks, Kurt Wendhack
